Re: Reunion planning meeting Monday, Nov. 29;
I'll be there. Now if I could just remember where the school is. Oh yeah...it's that big building that has a bunch of rooms with desks that is attached to the gym. Now I remember. I was in that part of the school once....smelled like old books and made me sneeze a lot.
-Don Hinds-

Ed. note; Looking forward to seeing you there, Don, and everybody else that feels inspired to come. Here are the details once again: The next planning meeting for the 60th reunion will be held on Monday, November 29, 2010 at 7 pm in the library at Miles Mac. Enter the school through the staff entrance by the Chelsea Avenue parking lot.

Just a friendly reminder that the Miles Mac 60th anniversary reunion planning meeting takes place this coming Monday, Nov. 29th, at 7:00 p.m. in the MMC library. Everybody is encouraged to attend as there is much to be done, and many hands make light work. If you can afford to spare a little of your time come on out and see what it's all about. And hey, it  just might be the most fun you've had in a long time!

Re: Shaky shares; Nov 24/10
Hey Shaky,
My cleavage was bound to end up on the floor sooner or later...just last week it slid down from my waist to my knees.Thank the Lord for underwire, spanx, and dimmer switches.
P.S. Mike, I'll give you a Domo coupon for the out-takes
-Eleanor "Heavage" Hrabowych-

Ed. note; Personally we think they're worth a lot more, but throw in five Canadian Tire bucks and you might have a deal...

Can't shake those nicknames...

In high school volleyball, it was "Skippy". Working on the MS Lord Selkirk, it was "Spinny". Now I've been reduced to "Shaky"??

Ed. note; Look on the bright side, Shaky. This nickname can take you right through your senior years...

Re: We've Got Big Balls, Nov22,/10
Grazie mille, Michele…your wonderful choice of music and editing skills created a bocce video that is absolutely hilarious. Thanks also for pointing out my ‘superior’ skills as a videographer…although I must admit that I am somewhat disappointed, as will be many I’m sure, that my shot of Eleanor’s cleavage ended up on the cutting room floor.
-Sherril "Shaky" Labovich-

Ed. note: 'Absolutely hilarious'? We were going for serious cinema. We're talking a "man's inhumanity to man" sort of vibe. And though it showed enormous box office potential, we chose to take the high road and leave Eleanor's controversial cleavage shot out. However, for a price we're  certainly willing to take a short stroll on the low track. The clip will be available to the highest bidder.

We've Got Big Balls...

Hey Kids! It's reunion video number two in the series, starring those wacky MMC '74 grads, putting their balls on display in "Bocce In The Park". Special thanks to our guest videographer Shaky McZoomerton, aka Sherril L. (pretty good for your first time behind the videocam, Sherril ;)  Some participants felt this was possibly the most relaxing and enjoyable activity of the weekend. You can experience it vicariously here, but don't miss the real thing next time 'round...
Cheers!

Re: Holy flaming fogies, Batman, Nov. 6;
Sherril is just being polite (with respect to me, not Mike). She's seen me and knows the only heads I'll be turning (if I'm lucky) are the women of the class of '42! Thank God I like older women! Of course I only say this now because I have no choice! Actually, the love of my life is 7 years younger than me and I'm sure she's ready to trade me in for a newer model. Hope you can all make it to the reunion meeting on the 29th. If I can't, I will be sending a delegate on my behalf. Have to go now, it's my turn at the shuffleboard table. Can't wait 'til next week....lawn bowling followed by an afternoon nap.

There was a profit of $2,099.51 on the Bud and Spud fundraiser on November 5, which was split 50/50 with the 2010/2011 Miles Mac Grad Committee, so we made $1,049.75 for the Miles Mac 60th Anniversary. Thanks to all who attended.
