Greetings, y'all. Received this delightful note from Steve Lu, who found us on the World Wide Web. Great to hear from you Steve, and we'll try to give you enough notice to join us on our next night out. First round is on us, but you'll have to spring for the ride there and back...
Hello Class of 1974. I was searching for news from my year 1975 and found your site instead. This is really good, pity we don't have one set up for our year. Since I arrived in Winnipeg from Hong Kong in the last week of August, 1974, in time to start Grade 12 in September, I am almost a 1974 class member! Miles Mac meant so much to me personally as a foreign student in 1974. Had I not been accepted I would not have fallen in love with Canada and its people, where I've become a citizen, and have Canada as my home away from home (my daughter lives in Montreal). Please let me know if there are any gatherings planned where class of '74 and some from '75 may appear in the near future. Best regards and keep up the good job. Steve Lu Hong Kong |
