Good morning, kids. In honor of Canadian astronaut and all-round awesome dude Chris Hadfield, here's a cool time lapse video of our beautiful globe taken from the International Space Station. Everything you see here is the real deal, from Aurora Borealis to lightning storms. And hey, the earth really is round! Good morning Miles Mac peeps! Here is a little taste of the concert that took place during the Miles Mac 60th Anniversary reunion weekend last June. The much talked about event, starring MMC Prodigy singers past and present, and conducted by teacher, musician and composer Zane Zalis, was by all accounts an enormous hit. This outstanding number, The End Of The Road, features former MMC grads Andrey Warmington and Kelsey Cowie, both talented soloists who absolutely nail it. Hit the pause button on the music player to the right and enjoy! To hear more talented Miles Mac musical stars go to...
http://www.mightymacstudio.com/index.html Hello class mates and readers of CHMM74. I received this e-mail some months ago and slipped it into the draft file intending to get to it in an expeditious manner, but I must confess it got away from me. The letter was from Gerald Horbal's son Matthew and as you'll read, he is looking for any pictures or info on his Dad. Gerald was absent for pictures for the 1974 yearbook, so my question is this: Does anyone have the yearbook for 1973 or 1972, or does anyone who was a classmate of Gerald's prior to high school have class photos or info to pass on to Matthew? That would be a good thing. Let us know @ [email protected] and we'll figure out how you can pass that along to Gerald's son Matthew.
Thanks, Michael Hi, my dad was Gerald Horbal and I was really hoping that you guys could email me a class photo of him please, or any other information that you might have. My father died in the Victoria Hospital in 1985. I was born March 1984, and after 27 years I still can't get over his passing. Thank you sincerely, Matthew Curtis Horbal. |
