Welcome grads of '74 and all curious others to the ComeHomeMilesMac74 website. I'm having way too much fun avoiding any of my more meaningful duties while serving as the unofficial (and as yet untested!) webmaster of this site. The web team's job here is to make sure that all the amazing stories, ideas, photos, etc. that you, the Miles Macdonell grads of 1974 are going to be sending us forthwith are processed and posted with great speed.Your task, should you accept it, is to get the link to this website out to every '74 grad you know. With a little luck and a lot of enthusiasm this reunion could be the party of the year. Cheers!

Mike you and the 'group' are amazing as usual. Of course the rest of us wait it out until you guys get things organized, as only your 'team' can. A couple of the 'girls' are already plotting and planning some pics to send in. So glad you have this up and running and can't wait till the reunion.

Hey Janis K. Good to hear from you. This best hair/trimmest figure thing? Who's not stressed? My hair is going gray and I've been sitting at this computer for so long I can barely get up to fetch another doughnut. Oh, and remind you in July about something you're telling me now? Helloo? I'm fifty-four, I can barely remember what I was.....what was I saying...? Never mind, it will be so much fun to catch up with you in July. In the meantime, would you mind sharing a few tidbits of your life with us on the bio page. Don't make me beg...please, please don't make me beg;)

Here is a little tidbit. You won't believe which MMCI bad boy is our truancy officer for River East Transcona School Division and actually has the kids shaking in their boots when he walks through the doors. Can't guess? Well, it is our one and only handsome and debonair Rick Penner.

Hey Janie. Isn't that just too much! Occasionally I see Rick cruising down Donwood Drive in his "official" capacity and we have chatted a few times. Great guy. The irony of being the former bad boy-turned truant officer is certainly not lost on him, and he relishes it with good humor.

Hey Janis K. I received your message in the webmail that you had sent your bio and registration, but it has not shown up. I noticed on your blog comments that you did not leave an e-mail address, so I'm speculating that you did not fill in the e-mail field on the contact page, which is necessary for the system to accept your info. If you fill in all the fields and press the submit button, you should receive a message that says either "Thanks, we've got your info" for registration or "Great to hear from you" for your bio info

Hey Jeff, good to see you here. I think there's a lot of grads out there like yourself who don't consider themselves "computer literate" enough to interact with the website, but it's surprisingly easy and fun if you take a bit of time to figure it out. Looking forward to reading the "Jeff Douglas" bio. Cheers!

As a direct quote from Janis K "Where the hell are the rest of the 'where are yous' out in weebly world. Come on folks, we need some entertainment while sharing a bottle or two of wine on a Friday night. That's right - as J.D. would say 'wait for it', a FRIDAY night. Our life is sooooooooooo full.
